Focus walls are great conversation starters. So what better way to break the ice than with a theme focus wall. Try anything from a Buddha theme to a nature theme- anything that pleases your senses. Niches in the wall make it possible for you to change the theme every now and then.
You could also go ahead with something more permanent like a wall fish tank or wall art (though it costs a bomb).
If these options are beyond your budget, highlight one wall with a bright coloured paint and hang up photo frames of family vacations, your kids growing up, your wedding day and more.
