Remember, heavy bleeding during your menstrual cycle can make you anaemic.
How Much Is Normal
The menstrual cycle is considered normal after taking the number of days you bleed and how many pads you change into account.
If you bleed for about three to five days with a blood loss of 60 to 80 ml, it is considered a normal menstrual cycle.
Also, menstrual bleeding is supposed to be in a fluid form. The menstrual blood has natural components which makes it fluid. It must not have clots in it. Clots are also considered as excess blood. When you have excessive bleeding along with clots, it is considered as a heavy flow.
