Mumbai: Speaking of fresh and happening collections at LFW this season, global Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukerji has some exciting news - one of his two collections to be showcased at LFW is about India-Pakistan partition.

Sabyasachi, who is a fan of fine Pakistani artwork and embroidery, is showcasing his first Indian collection at LFW this season.

The dramatic events of 1947 have inspired him to rediscover the old bond between Indian and Pakistani artistic styles.

Is this unusual theme aimed at dramatic effects? "No," says Sabyasachi, "I don't believe in drama in fashion shows. For me, good designs are the priority."
