Never keep yourself hungry. Hunger is your body's way of telling you that it needs food. Don't be fooled into thinking that by depriving yourself of food that you will lose weight. Losing weight is only a by-product of being healthy.

Don't expect to feel hungry only at the three main meal times of the day i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner. You might just land up hungry while travelling in the train or when you really need to sit for a meeting with your colleagues. At times like this on-the-go meals could be your best friend. And it beats the vending machine any day.
Here are a couple of mini-meal ideas -
- a fruit
- a packet of peanuts
- dried fruits
- coconut water/ juice
