The best way to overcome your ailments is getting the right vitamins and proteins in your daily diet. Vitamin B strengthens nails, vitamin B12 promotes natural growth and vitamin C prevents swelling of the nail tissue.
Protein and calcium too are equally essential. Beans, seeds, nuts, eggs and oats are protein rich foods, while dairy products and green leafy vegetables are a great source of calcium.
Increase your intake of Vitamin A, B, C, D, E and B12. Foods that are rich in these vitamins are as follows:
- Vitamin A - Carrots, mangoes, spinach, milk, cheese and sweet potatoes are a few.
- Vitamin B - Wheat, oats, poultry, meats, milk, yoghurt, green leafy vegetables, beans, peas and citrus fruits like oranges.
- Vitamin C- Tomato, cabbage, broccoli, citrus fruits like oranges and strawberries.
- Vitamin D - All dairy products.
- Vitamin E - Wheat, oats, green leafy vegetables and nuts.
- Vitamin B12 - Dairy like milk, yoghurt, cheese and meats like chicken, mutton and beef.
Beautiful nails are an asset. They are aesthetically appealing and also are a sign of your health. So make sure you're nails are healthy too!
