Here's what to look out for when you go to book the venue…

1. Convenience should be one of the top priorities while choosing a venue. If the venue is very far away from your and your guest's home either they won't be there on time or they won't turn up at all. And even if they do turn up there are always the aunts that keep nagging about how difficult it was to get there.

2. Don't compromise on Space. Even if you are expecting 100 guests book a venue, which can accommodate around 150 people. There are always some unexpected guests. Even if you don't expect any unexpected guests, everyone wants enough space to move around. Plus it becomes easy to spot gatecrashers.

3. Make sure the venue is Weather Proof. Monsoon is not the only season you need to weather proof the venue.

If you are having a summer wedding make sure the venue is air-conditioned or has enough coolers to cool the venue. In winters it would be great if you have heaters or the very traditional angeethis.

4. Want your guests to remain healthy? Make sure the venue is Hygienic. Check for insect repellents and clean staff. Also ask they will provide cleaners at all times, especially at washrooms.
