Hair Styles with Pins
When you put your hair up either in a French knot or a bun you need to use pins, almost an entire can of hair spray, rough brushing and what not.
"You can ask your hair stylist to use U pins. These are loose and don't break your hair when you take them off. Start taking out the pins from the bottom first and then work your way up. After taking off all your pins and removing any other elastic bands that are holding your hair, run your fingers through. You may find a few stray pins that you missed along the way," says
Amanda Carvalho, Senior Hair Stylist at Dilshads Salon.
Amanda Carvalho also tells you how to comb your hair out once all the knots are out. She advises you to start by combing the bottom part of your hair and then moving your way up.
This way, the area which has the maximum amount of knots will be combed out and the rest will be easy to handle. This causes less breakage and pain.
The next day it would be great to head to your parlour for a protein treatment or any other intense repair treatments. If you are staying at a hotel and they have a parlour, make sure to find out before hand whether they have these treatments or not.
Hair Ironed Out Flat
If your hair is ironed flat without using any hair sprays etc., then you don't need to do anything to it. In fact you can just iron on top of it the next day too.
On the other hand if they have ironed your hair and then styled it with hair sprays or pins you need to take care. It would be a good idea to go for an intense repair or deep conditioning treatment at your parlour. "Ensure that your stylist uses a heat protective spray that protects your hair from temperatures as high as 200 degrees," says Amanda.

Back Combing
Back combing your hair means getting it all knotted. It's hard to brush it out and your brush may also get stuck in the tangle.
Meera Rathod tells you to detangle your hair with a wide toothcomb. Using a paddle brush or a round brush isn't a great idea as it breaks your hair easily when it's tangled.
