Remember, you are what you eat. Diet plays a very crucial role in improving your skin and no matter how many skin products you use, if your diet is wrong the effect will also be minimised. You need vitamins and nutrients to boost your skin's immunity.
- Drink at least 10 glasses of water. No amount of moisturising creams can replace the hydration water provides.
- Drink a lot of juices and other drinks such as lassi and buttermilk.
- Vitamins are very essential for you so you can start taking multivitamin tablets after consulting your doctor.
- Include carrots, green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, papaya and watermelon in your daily diet.
- You can have curd in any form and drink one glass of milk per day provided you are not overweight. Avoid too much ghee, butter and oil.
- If you are non-vegetarian, make sure you avoid mutton because it produces body heat. Stick to fish, eggs and chicken.

Eat a normal healthy diet at home. Avoid eating food from out as much as you can before your wedding. Even if you start taking care of your diet two or three months in advance, you will see a marked difference in your complexion on your wedding day.
Salon or Clinic
You do not need to go to a skin clinic. Just get a normal clean up done unless you have skin problems.
If you are looking at certain beauty enhancement services that are done with advanced machines, then you definitely need to go to a certified doctor.
For some special services such as removal of pigmentation, brown spots, back polishing and permanent hair removal, a certified skin clinic is essential.
Minor facials, regular clean-ups, body massages and threading can always be done at a reputed and hygienic salon.
