Always conduct a patch test before you use a hair removal cream. The patch, approximately 2 cms in size, should be done on the area that needs to be worked on. A patch test will say if it is safe to use the cream or not.
Contrary to popular belief, the regular use of hair removal creams does not turn skin dark. There are several hair removal creams available in the market, some with fragrances too.
Quick Fix
Shaving is the quickest method for hair removal. It does not require any tests or prior preparations.
Shaving requires one to be very cautious; it can be very dangerous since you are handling a sharp blade. When buying a razor, look for one with a rubber grip and an attached aloe vera strip, which makes the skin smooth.
Always remember to moisturise skin with water before shaving. Also use a body wash or shaving cream.
Hair-free Forever!
Laser hair reduction or removal is the best option if you want to get rid of unwanted hair permanently. This treatment is safe too.
It takes about four to five sessions to remove hair completely. However, some hair follicles might produce hair but this will gradually reduce.
There is no age limit attached to the removal of hair using laser treatment. But it is advisable to get it done at the age of 18 years - or after - as this is when puberty peaks.
Now this gives you enough reason to wear a bikini when you hit the beach on your next trip to Goa!
