While buying a sunscreen, check not only the SPF factor, but also make sure that sunscreen contains UVA and UVB blockers as well.

Skin issues
Dermatologist Dr Chetan Oberai strongly recommends staying out of the pool if you have any skin infections.
"You can infect others if you use a common swimming pool," he warns, " besides, some skin problems may become worse due to chlorine content of the water. Do consult a skin specialist if you have an infection."
Dr Aparna adds that while the chlorine may not aggravate your skin problem, during summers it will prolong the healing time.
"If you are going swimming, remember proper diet with veggies, sprouts and a visit to your dermatologist is a must," Dr Santhanam adds.
