Did You Know?
People who are naturally low in energy levels tend to unconsciously absorb energy from others.
Similarly, people who tend to be livelier and energetic tend to make you also feel peppy and upbeat. These are people with excess prana.
Do you know why you feel at peace when you are at a certain place like a temple or church?
This is because certain places have more energy or prana, and if the temple or church happens to be there, then you tend to feel better.
Heal your Health
The benefits of pranic healing are innumerable. It can be used to heal major illnesses of liver, kidney, heart problems etc.
It is also helpful in relieving common cold and fever, headaches, gastric trouble, and pains.
For example, you have a presentation to give in 10 minutes, but you have severe headache and the pain killers aren't working. You can reduce the intensity of your headache through pranayam.
Or if the pain during your menses is unbearable, you can use visualisation or healing technique to relieve the pain.
Remember, pranic healing only aids in the healing process, and is not a cure for your health problems. You can follow it alongside your regular treatment. Its intention is to complement traditional treatment and not supplement it.
Learning to Heal
You can learn the basic principles and techniques of healing in two to three sessions.
Most sessions for beginners do not extend beyond two days. However, it does require much practice to attain proficiency.
The Pranic Healing Foundation of Maharashtra conducts two day workshops for beginners for about Rs. 2000. It involves meals, books and cassettes.
