Physical Stress
According to Dr. Satish Tibrewala, Gynaecologist from Bombay Hospital, if you are stressed during pregnancy, it can affect the blood supply to your baby and as a result your baby may not receive ample oxygen supply and may be undernourished.
"My husband and I stay alone. My in-laws live in their hometown. To add to this, I am also working and pregnant! Naturally, I need to do both the office as well as household work. Though my husband does help me out, I get very tired and stressed at the end of the day. So to overcome this stress, I get up early morning and when everything is silent around, I simply meditate," says Aanchal Kamlesh, who is six months pregnant.
If you are working, take short breaks in between and move away from your workstation.
