On a walk through the buyer's section at the fashion week, we got to speak to a couple of jewellery designers who didn't seem too excited about how the experience is shaping up for them.
"My jewellery hasn't got much presence on the ramp," says Neelum Narang, jewellery designer whose label is called Color Jewels.

"The only designer who approached me was Puja Arya who will feature some of my hairclips in her fashion show," says the rather disappointed woman who was seated in the corner of a couch in her pokey stall.
Bang opposite Neelum's stall is Vasundhara Creative Jewellery, which doesn't seem to be doing much business either. "Buyers don't have a budget for accessories," says Vasundhara Mantri, the jewellery designer.
"Buyers, both national and international like a few pieces and want to pick them up. But since they don't have a budget, I really can't do much to reduce my prices. After all, it costs a lot to have a stall here," she explains.
Sad but true, even prominent jewellers like Amrapali are having a rather hard time at fashion week.
