Andrea Jung, 49 became Avon's chief in 1999 and Chairman in 2001.

However off-late, it has not been a walk-in-the-park for Andrea. Amid weak profits and low sales in China the company claims that it has made progress in Latin America.

In fact, Andrea has cut down drastically on staff and is going all out advertising the product.

Jung is a member of the New York Presbyterian Hospital Board of Trustees (with Citigroup's Sanford Weill and Verizon's Ivan Seidenberg) and a director of General Electric.

Annual Revenue for Avon: $ 9.93 billion.
