
But a lot of these tags are just that… nothing but a label. If you really want a natural perfume, then this is what you need to look for.
Standard perfumes (any brand) are complex mixtures of chemicals. Here, alcohol acts as a solvent.
In contrast, natural perfumes are alcohol free!
Also, natural perfumes use only natural extracts as ingredients. In genuinely natural perfumes, alcohol is done away with and natural carrier oils are used instead.
How Can You Be Sure?
The next time you go to buy 'natural products', read the packaging label carefully. It is also important to note the order in which the ingredients are listed. The main contents (ones that makes up the larger proportion of the product) are listed on top and the smaller contents feature further down the list.
So if you are looking for a jasmine perfume, make sure that jasmine is listed in the top three ingredients. Also, ensure that it is alcohol free!
