The prominent colours on the mood board could take over the room in the form of the wall paint. You could also have two dominant colours. In such a case, you can have the walls painted in a particular colour with a design in the contrasting colour painted over it.

The accent colours can be used in smaller elements in the room like the cushions, vases, lampshades, floor rugs etc.
