A Simple Home-Made Rangoli Recipe

If you are bored of the regular styled powder rangolis, here is an easy to be made rangoli with a difference - the Zardosi Rangoli.

Mumbai based home maker Lalitha Sankaran shares the recipe with you.

For this you need:

• A rangoli design
• A thick transparent plastic sheet
• Feviquick or glue
• Stones of various colours and shapes
• And zardosi of various colours

How to Make

Place the plastic sheet on the design and attach it to the floor with the help of cello tape on the four corners.

Now start sticking the zardosi and the stones on the plastic sheet as per the design pattern below using the glue. Allow it to dry for sometime. Then remove the cello tape and place the plastic sheet on the porch.

And voila, your unique rangoli is ready to be shown off.
