If you are the blessed one with a tall stature and a voluptuous figure, you can drape the six yards to your benefit by being just a wee bit creative.
You can try the Gujarathi style of draping. After draping the saree from the centre back and tucking in the pleats towards the centre, place the free end of the pallu, either pleated or left open from the back towards the right shoulder.
Now, pin it around your waist towards the left side or let the pallu loose in the front so that there are not many layers around your torso.
Try a bold and sleek look with a noodle straps and embellishments if you are slim. Opt for cap-sleeves if you are top heavy.
Play with Colours
If your saree is a dark shade of red, you do not necessarily have to go for rubies.
Play with colours…go for emeralds or sapphires. Pastels suit fair brides. So if you have an Indian complexion, try shades like red, magenta, coral orange or fuchsia pink.
