He has an interesting story to tell.

"I am a lover of olden Bombay."

I traced the history of my community, from Patan, Gujarat, in Bombay back to 700 years ago. I found that its history ran parallel to Bombay's. So I began collecting everything related to Bombay- from books to picture postcards and photographs- all over a hundred years old.

Later I moved on to furniture, sculptures, pottery and even crockery. I have a soap dish from Bombay's Watson Hotel, crockery and cutlery from GIP railway caterers, a restaurant at VT during the British days and blue and white Chinese Ming pottery in unique shapes and sizes.
