From a distant corner of the room comes the gurgle of water. You are instantly soothed.
As you are when you meet the colour therapist herself. Amisha Mehta tells us how she uses the medium of colour to heal and transform people's lives.

It is all about colour breathing, colour absorbing, painting or even wearing the right colours.
Colours are connected to the seven chakras of our body -- the spine, reproductive organs, navel, heart, throat, middle of the eyebrows and crown. Each chakra has got its own colour that identifies with a part of your body.
For instance, if you have a backache, the chakra in your spine can respond to certain colours that can bring about holistic healing for you. But that's not to say that you don't need medical treatment as well.
Amisha's colour secrets
The healing process works on an interactive basis. I interact with the person, look into their problems and prepare a questionnaire accordingly. Depending upon that I analyse which colour is required to the body at that point of time.
Each colour has its own therapeutic value. You have to remember that each colour has its positives as well as negatives.
At the same time just like a vitamin tablet you cannot overdo a single colour. You have to generally move on into the next stage. So depending upon how the person is reacting you go on to the second stage.
Colours are not something you can visually see like a tablet. It is something that gets absorbed through the eyes. Just like how light gets reflected within your eyes, the whole colour absorption happens.
