Mumbai: 'Celebration', a painting exhibition showcasing masterpieces by artist Lili Menon will be held at Artist's Centre, Ador House, Kala Ghoda, K. Dubash Marg, Mumbai 400 001 from 11th to 15th April, 2007. The timings are 11am to 7 pm.

The work is expressionistic, with bright strokes and layers of paint, portraying the rough and smooth in the turbine of life.

There is a primitivism to the blazing work, which on the surface may belie the real feeling behind it's creation.

The paintings were never planned. They emerged from a passion needing release at the time.

They all emanate from a process of touch, feel, spontaneous self expression and at all times a celebration of life.
