Here is your guide to some Hollywood news. While the chequered Britney Spears saga might have taken a happy turn with the singer returning to the stage, her ex-beau Justin Timberlake has raced far ahead and figures amongst the likes of Martin Scorsese and Al Gore in the list of 100 most influential people!
Britney's comeback
From the brink of meltdown to centre stage - Britney came a long way as she gave her first public performance in three years on May 1.
Teaming a tiny white mini with a pink bustier and of course a long brown wig to cover her shaved head, Britney took the stage for some 15 minutes.
Guess she gets all that energy from her new gardening regime!
100 most influential people
So what do Leonardo DiCaprio, Borat and Kate Moss have in common?
Well, for better or worse, they are amongst Time magazine's chosen 100 people who shape today's world.
Singer Justin Timberlake also figures on the list, and that’s right after having his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds!
Brad Pitt, too, managed a place amongst the 100, but his partner Jolie who's busy making up her Benetton family was left out.
Others included in the list are American Idol creator Simon Fuller, actor Cate Blanchett, and director Martin Scorsese.
Premiere of Lucky You
A slew of professional poker players got lucky when they got the chance to walk the red carpet along with stars of Lucky You for the film's New York premiere.
Starring Drew Barrymore, Eric Bana and Robert Duvall, Lucky You focuses on the life of a poker player who struggles to find the right balance of caution and recklessness.
And you would have to be a die-hard poker fan to actually follow all the cards and chips flying around the betting tables. The film hit the American theatres this week.
