New Delhi: Paris Hilton walked free early Tuesday morning after spending 23 days in jail and the lady surely played the part of a rebuked child to the T.

Dressed in a white top and demure pale green jacket, it almost seemed like a coy catwalk down the 'runway' to her freedom - a waiting SUV with her parents.

There was no posing for the shutterbugs, no waving to the fans, no quotable quotes either - after all, this was no red carpet event.

The hotel heiress was sentenced to 45 days in jail in May for reckless driving on a suspended licence and for violating terms of her probation.

She might not have had the licence to drive but she surely does have the licence to do pretty much anything.

Paris - the hotel heiress, socialite, actor, host, singer and model - has many tags but has justified only one, that of a drunk party animal.

But Paris' fans will beg to differ, which is why, she finds herself in news for pretty much anything and everything - be it her whimsical debut as a singer or her cry baby act in the courtroom for being dragged back to jail.

Critics might snigger at this 'dumb blonde' but Paris Hilton does have a meaningful life. After all, her life is but manifestation of William Shakespeare's words - "much ado about nothing".
