Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty's publicist Dale Bhagwagar has claimed that Shilpa's so called 'biography' is unauthorised.

"Shilpa has not spoken about her life to its author Julie Aspinall," Bhagwagar revealed.

According to her publicist the actresses's quotes used in the Shilpa have been taken from magazine and televison interviews.

Even though the book has been called her 'biography' a large part of the book concentrates on her realtionship with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and her Big Brother experience. The author has missed out on important parts of Shilpa's life and career.

Seems like the author was hoping sensationalism would sell here.

"The book concentrates on the happenings during and after Celebrity Big Brother and on Shilpa's iconic rise to fame followed by the transition from an actress to a diva," said Bhagwagar.

When asked if Shilpa was going to pick up the pen anytime soon, Bhatwagar said, "Since last year, a new exciting phase has materialised for brand Shilpa Shetty. The market is huge and spread over countries, but Shilpa has many more miles to cover before picking up the pen."

Seems like we will have to do a bit of waiting for Shilpa's official biography.
