Much has been written about how young people emulate celebrities and want to copy them. But being under the spotlight and getting constant attention and adulation has its own fallouts.
Burn-outs, nervous breakdowns, eating disorders, forgotten sleep and more often than not, a crazy obsession with the body. The other side of looking good and earning the big bucks is ugly.
The beautiful people are real too and have problems just like the rest of us. And much like real people, some of them want second shot at life as well.
A look at some troubled celebs and how they're striving to get out.
Sporting Trouble

Melanie 'Sporty Spice' Chisholm said in a recent interview how she was an unhealthy role model for the many young girls who were Spice Girls fans.
Mel C told Brit tabloid, The Sun, how she had to live up to her skinny tomboy image by excessively exercising and not eating enough. Now she is warning others of the dangers of extreme dieting.
Melanie told The Sun, "I was underweight and my image was unhealthy. There were kids who were looking up to me. I want to rectify any of the damage I caused. I got so thin my periods stopped and my bones became very fragile. I may have done permanent damage." (Photo: Reuters)
