New Delhi: The latest rumor buzzing around among people is whether the French president Nicolas Sarkozy has tied the knot with Carla Bruni.

Fresh reports on their affair claim Sarkozy married his Italian model-turned singer girlfriend at a private ceremony on Thursday at the Elysse Palace. The presidential spokesperson has neither denied nor confirmed the news.

The reports come days after Sarkozy's second wife Cécilia was quoted as calling him a womanizer who does not love even his children. Cecilia Sarkozy, and her 11-year marriage with the French President is a subject of three books that hit bookstores this week, generating buzz about the president's private life three months after they divorced.

With the much talked about, Sarkozy affair with Bruni, public confidence in the French President has dipped to 49 per cent after hitting 64 per cent just six months back, according to a poll published in 'Le Figaro'.
