Many of you might have tried quite hard to separate the drawing and dining space. But then formal partitions not only restrict ventilation but also reduce the space. So what's the solution? Try using a different colour scheme. For instance you could use two shades of a single colour. Now in case your room is big, you can use two different colours, one dark and the other a lighter one.

Good lighting also plays an important role in enhancing the look of the space. Its important to use soft lighting in order to create a relaxed atmosphere. And to compliment this, you need bright colours in your living room. Since the drawing room needs bright lights, you can experiment with bright shades there.
 
Living Space

Living rooms should be designed keeping in view your personal choice as well as the latest trends. It is the place where you spend most of your time and also entertain guests. Simple geometric patterns such as curves, arcs and edges always look good on walls. Square, lines and circles are some good patterns.

Dining space is the family's space. Here you spend time with your family. Vibrant colours and mix-and-match with shapes give a cheerful look to the dining space.

The Bedroom is your personal space. So you can experiment with colours and designs of your own choice. But remember that the colour scheme should be soothing.

Painting techniques like masking and stenciling are used in wall fashion. Masking includes the use of masking tape to block some wall portions. The paint is applied on the area around it and later the tape is removed. In case of stenciling, paint is applied on the cutouts.
