This quad-band and GPS-enabled model has been priced at Rs 31,990 in the Indian market. It has a media player and a microSD expandable memory slot for storing music and videos.
Other features include E-mail, text, instant messaging, web browser, organiser, multimedia and corporate data applications.
The model also offers a ultra-bright, high resolution (320x240) landscape colour display, light-sensing technology that automatically optimises the screen, trackball and keyboard lighting for indoor, outdoor and dark environments.
This feature rich model was launched on wednesday by Telecom operator Bharti Airtel in association with wireless solutions provider Research In Motion (RIM).
