Dr. Firuza Parikh and her team have developed the CAT (Cumulus Aided Transfer), a techniques that increases the success of IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) at the Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai.
This techniques was researched in 517 women, more than half of whom had failed IVF attempts in the past. Cat is especially useful in older women and previous unsuccessful IVF attempts.
Close to 2300 babies from 45 countries have been born with the help of advance procedures carried out by the Jaslok team, making it one of the leading fertility centres in the world.
