Mumbai: Shahzad Kalim presented India's independence in the most glamorous, creative way.
He presented the collection that includes kurtas, tops, chudidars, knee length pants, tunics and smocks. He redefined patriotic passion and used fabrics such as khaki silk, cotton, silk and even net.
The ensembles had intricate appliqué work, glass bead embroidery, cutwork, pleating and layering.
He used colours like rusty orange, green, brown, beige and ivory. This collection was a beautiful tribute to India and to fashion.
