Mumbai: Designer Kaushie Adiseshan presented the Spring-Summer collection for her brand Pink Elf.
The collection was inspired by celluloid style for leading ladies belonging to two different eras and two continents. One a diva from Hollywood's Film Noir and the other from a Bollywood blockbuster.
The garments had to look glamorous, and they were.
The gold she used for the garments wouldn't hit your eye. It was dull with a hint of bronze and shined with matte look.
Her palatte included shades like ivory, coral, amethyst, sea green and turquoise all with a combination of gold.
The silhouettes were chic and classy. They included kimono tunics, dresses with a bubble hemline, wide-legged pants and halter-neck dresses.
The fabrics like cotton, silk, linens, and lace went well with the theme.
The highlight of the collection was skirt that was inspired by a saree. It was draped like a saree but was used bellow a shimmering vest.
