Mumbai: Swapnil Shinde achieved just what he wanted - being sexy without being cheap and elegant without being boring - as he presented his Spring-Summer collection at the Lakme Fashion Week.

He creatively used pin-tucks to add texture to the fabric, especially for the gowns.
His palatte included very subtle shades of ivory, chanpagne, shades of grey, rose pink and beinge along with others.
The style that caught attention was straps twisted in front, forming a cross in the back. This is a novel idea and is easily imitable in daily wear.
Swapnil is by far the first designer in LFW, who used graphical prints that made it big in Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week held in Delhi earlier this year.
