Mumbai: Empress Theodora came alive for a little while on Day 3 at the LFW courtesy designer Wendell Rodricks. Yes, the dear empress was his inspiration for his collection 'Empress'.

Wendell's collection was divided into four parts:
Virgin where he presented his collection in all white, Mistress where he used blood red, Empress where he used turquoise blue and black and Saint where he used shades of beige, cream, caramel and pearl gey.
He used fabrics like Lycra, cotton, linen, satin silk, georgette, organza, polyester crepe, crepe, crepe silk and chiffon. There was a range of tunics, hot pants, jackets, dresses, minis, blouses, smocks, skirts, bomber jackets and even a sari.
The Showstopper: Waluscha Robinson presented the showstopper which was a black georgette and satin silk saree worn with a Lycra choli.
It was another royal close to a royal day of beautiful collections on Day 3 at the Lakme Fashion Week.![]()
