Naveen Nair, Thiruvananthapuram: If you have a dog at home and you are too busy to feed it in time, here is what you are just looking for.

Venugopal a chef from Thiruvananthapuram has started a fast food service exclusively for dogs.

Which makes, Ramesh, a dog-breeder and his wife are a happy lot today.

He has three dogs at home and preparing food for all the three was quite a task.

But thanks to the exclusive fast-food service for canines, Ramesh now gets his dog-food delivered to his door even before he leaves for work!

“I think this is a great concept. The dogs have accepted the food very well. They just love it,” said Ramesh.

“I had to spent more than an hour to cook the rice and meat and since I go to office it was very tough to manage it. Now this fast food has really helped us to save time as well as give our dogs food at right time,” said Ramesh’s wife Rathika Ramesh.

Venugopal and his chef start as early as 5 in the morning and deliver their biriyani by 10 am.

Venugopal charges a reasonable Rs 100 for a week's feed. So what made him start this unique venture?

“It all started when I could not give my own dog food at the right time. I realised that others will also be facing the same problem. After I talked to a few families who have dogs, I though why not start a fast food just for dogs,” said Venugopal.

And for the dogs, they just love it! Ramesh and Ratika now find it tough to maintain order during lunch.
