Sofia: Robot carrying out operations is no longer a distant dream.

The first ever robotized gynaecology clinic was opened on Wednesday by Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov  in Southeast Europe in northern Bulgarian city of Pleven.

Surgery in the Pleven Clinic will be carried out using the four-armed robot Da Vinci.

According to the president, The Da Vinci robot was a supreme achievement and a real revolution in the development of mini-invasive surgery.

Foreign specialist would also be trained along with Bulgarians at this medical centre.
