Juzbi Walia, New Delhi: Newly-wed Abhishek Bachchan with his wife Aishwarya Rai in tow, arrived at Tirumala, on Sunday morning to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji.

They were accompanied by the rest of the Bachchan family and even industrialist Anil Ambani.

Following the temple visit, Abhi-Ash then left for Venice for their honeymoon.

Meanwhile, the senior Bachchan also spoke to the media on Sunday, saying sorry because security guards roughed up journalists outside his house. “I regret any inconvenience suffered by anyone.

I don't want to upset anyone on this auspicious occasion,” he said. Like the marriage, the temple affair too, was a closely guarded event.

For the first time ever, the media was barred from the temple as Bachchan and family prayed and devotees kept out were not too happy with the move.

"I was waiting for two-three hours. It normally it takes only one hour. Just because they have fame and money doesn't mean they get preference.
