New Delhi: On Day 3 of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week fashion designer Anita Dongre launched India's first Eco-friendly collection 'grassroot'.
Grassroot - an organic clothing line is inspired by nature, bringing forth flower and leaf motifs in the form of prints and embroidery.

The collection mainly comprised dresses, tops, tunics and jackets, which are the focus of Spring-Summer 2008.
Staying true to nature, the collection is made of organic cotton. The organic colour palatte made of vegetable dyes consisted of royal blues, yellows, blacks and off-whites.
About her unique collection Anita says, "Grassroot is a fashion movement that encourages the use of textile made from techniques and procedures that do not harm the environment. It promotes the use of organic cotton and vegetable dyes, which make fabric purer and softer."
Apart from women's wear, Anita's collection also included dresses for little girls, and khakis and slogan based t-shirts for men.
