Here are some smart tricks to make your furniture handy even though it has crossed it's utility period.
1.Shoe Rack

So you have redone your entire hall and don't quite know what to do with your shoe rack?
If you have a huge collection of books, your shoe rack can double up as a book rack in your bedroom. It also makes it a lot easier to just pick up the book you want to read instead of searching for them in drawers and cupboards.
Just make sure you wash your show rack really well to get rid of the shoe stench before you can place your precious books into it.
You can even place your old shoe rack in your bathroom to put your shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries. This will save you from drilling holes into your bathroom walls or keeping your lotions lying in the open.
2.Showcase
Bought a new wall unit and your showcase is of no use anymore?
You don't have to put all your things on display in your hall. Remember the expensive crockery that you get out only on special occasions?
Move your showcase in the kitchen and put it on a display. Don't forget to flaunt your crystal sets either.
3.Trunk

Have this really old trunk in your bedroom that is eating up a lot of unnecessary space? Why not make it the centre of attraction?
