Here are simple ways to keep everything in your house stain free, whether old or new.
- Wax Stains
So you had a romantic candlelight dinner with your partner. But in the romantic atmosphere, have you forgotten about wax stains on your wooden table?
Remember, getting the wax off the table with a knife or your nails could leave scratches behind.
The key is for the wax to melt away. What you can do is put a paper towel on the wax and press a hot iron on top of it so that the wax melts away without leaving behind any stains or scratches.
- Pen Marks
You may be proud mother of a child who does her homework regularly. The only thing is, you might not be very proud of the pen and sketch pen doodle marks on her study table.
A very simple solution is to use a nail polish remover. The stain will come out instantly.
- Stickers Marks
You have brought a new set of vessels, only don't know how to get rid of those stickers of the brand name?
One of the things you can do is heat the vessel, the sticker comes out a lot easily. In case you have a plastic bowl which you cannot heat, you can put it in water, this way the sticker would and can be removed without any hassles.
- Coffee and Tea Stains
Has your hot cup of coffee left behind a white ring stain on your favourite coffee table?
One home remedy you can try is taking a wet sponge with dry baking soda and gently rubbing that area.
- Chalk Marks
You have tailor-made your curtains just the way you wanted them. The only problem is, the chalk marks on the original material still remains.
So what do you do?
The ideal thing is to give it for dry cleaning so that the marks would go away without you having to worry about the colour fading away.
