Even your furniture can have chalk marks left by your carpenter. In this case, use a sponge and gently wipe away the mark. This is because using a hard bristled brush can leave behind some scratches.

Your new mirror might be shining, except for the stamp that holds the manufacturer's mark.

Since it is a mirror you have to be really careful. Use a mild detergent and a sponge to get rid of the stamp.

• Stains on the Wall

What you can do is use mild oil like baby oil or a lotion and wipe the crayon marks away.

You can also use a mild dishwashing liquid, one that does not contain any bleach. Make sure you dilute it with warm water before using.

What you can do is apply vinegar to a cloth and gently rub the area. However, do not over saturate the leather surface. Make sure you let it dry off as well.

Don't fret. You can first use cooking flour so that it will absorb all the oil. After that use an upholstery shampoo and get rid of the grease.
