
Here are a few things that you can do to quickly get rid of puffy eyes.
Ice it up
An immediate rescue is a piece of ice cube wrapped in a soft cloth or tissue, hold it over each eyelid for a few minutes to reduce the swelling instantly.
If your eyes are red, keep a spoon inside the fridge and place the concave part on your eyes to form a cup around it.
Continuously splashing cold water for around a minute can instantly reduce the puffiness.
Simple Eye Exercises
Sit on a chair; rest your elbow on the table. Relax in a comfortable position and then cup your palms and place it on top your eyes.
Think of something soothing like the mountains, sea, water or anything under the sun that soothes your mind.
Simply relax by taking deep breaths for about 20 minutes can help reduce the puffy eyes. Keep drinking as much water you can to prevent dehydration or else your body starts storing water as a defence and this adds to the puffy eyes.
Rosewater and Cucumber
Lie down is a quiet room for just 15 minutes and relax. Put cucumber slices or raw potato slices on your eyes while doing so.
Soak some cotton in rose water and then place it on top of your eyes. Let it remain for 10 minutes and then take out the cotton and wash your face.
What Not to Do
Do not rub your eyes at all even if mascara or some other cosmetic gets in because that will make your eyes look puffy.
Instead, clean it with water or the clean edge of a light cotton handkerchief. Do not sleep with eye make up on. Gently remove the eye make up after every ceremony and wash your eyes with cold water.
