Hair… you are still not sure.
Should you plait, roll or tie your lovely tresses for the big day? A few experts share their insights on what is ideal for your hair on your wedding day.
Tied-Up Is So Good!
Coleen Khan, celebrity hairstylist and proprietor Chikaba salon says, "While it depends on what the bride is wearing, wedding hairstyles are usually all tied-up in a bun." The classic bun is the choice of most brides.
Coleen says, "Traditional flowers are a hot favourite in India and the bun works perfectly with it. It also helps keep the pallu or duppatta in place, in case of an Indian outfit."
Bridal hair accessories like diamante clips, hair stick-ons, hair-pins, flowers and wreaths that are popular this season, show better if your hair is tied up.
Depending on what suits you, wear the bun either high-up, low-down (towards the nape of your neck) or mid-way on your head
A Short Story
Even short hair can look classy and fun. You can get a hairstylist to set your hair in a perfect bob and accessorise according to your bridal outfit. And if you simply insist on making your hair appear longer than it is, then it is artificial hair to the rescue!
You can then opt to have the artificial hair tied or braided in a way that you want.
And The Ensemble Is
Your hairstyle will also depend on the kind of wedding ensemble you choose.
So do check with your hairstylist on what style is best. For instance, a low-back or off-shouldered ensemble calls for a hairdo that's tied up!
Damage Does It?
In case of damaged hair like dry hair, frizzy hair and even burnt hair, the ever reliant hairspray will help keep you looking perfect.
Your hair is not going to get healthy overnight. So let your stylist work her magic and you can go in for a hair treatment after the wedding
