But if money and time are coming in the way, try these easy home tips to give you the relaxation and treatment of a spa at home. What better way to start the new year, don't you think?

Relax Your Feet
Whether you are a busy working woman, or a homemaker, your feet are bound to get tired at the end of the day. Relax those tired, aching feet of yours by doing the following:
Just take warm water, add a little bit of shampoo and salt in the bucket and soak your leg in it. This combination of salt and water is recommended for those who have sprained their feet as well. This combination also acts as a great muscle relaxant.
You can even take pumice stone and rub the soles of your feet to get rid of all the dirt and grime.
Read a book or watch your favourite comedy while doing this to make it a complete relaxation session.
Liven Up Your Skin
You may not be able to steam your entire body, but you can steam your face. Just put a vessel of water to boil. Close the vessel with a lid while it is boiling.
After the water is boiled and you notice that bubbles are coming out of the vessel, take the lid off, and immediately place your face on top of the vessel, at a slight distance of course. Cover a towel around the vessel and your face so that all the steam is directed to your face.
After 10 to 15 minutes you can take the towel off. Splash your face with ice cold water so that the pores that are opened due to steam will be closed. This is recommended for people with acne as well because steam helps remove all the hidden grime and dirt from your face, making you look fresher and cleaner.
Unwind
Massaging your hair with oil is known to ease tension. If you are not allergic to menthol, you can use hair oil with menthol for a cooling effect. Make sure you use warm oil and not hot oil as hot oil could burn your scalp. Give yourself a nice message.
Better still, ask hubby dearest to give you a warm oil massage. After that is done, dip a towel in boiling hot water, squeeze excess water and wrap the towel over your head. Not only is this relaxing, but will improve your hair growth as well.
